The Right Notes

Contributing development ideas to the Lotus Domino community

About me

I am a Sr. Lotus Notes developer for a large law firm. I work primarily in Lotus Notes and Domino and Quickplace. The tools I use include HTML, javascript, and JAVA as well as Lotusscript and formula language. I hope to develop my skills in XML and JAVA in particular.

Like many people, I came to development in a round-about fashion. I majored in Economics and English literature in college, then went on to get an MA and Ph.D. in English Literature. I taught for a short while, then left academia for IT. I began as a trainer, but quickly discovered I had a knack for programming languages. After a few twists and turns, I started developing in Notes about 8 years ago, and I’ve been doing it full-time for about four.
